About Our Expert: Lisa Hammond

Lisa Hammond founded Femail Creations in 1996. The mail order catalog and website was born out of a passion to empower and inspire women. Lisa didn’t want to let the fact that she had no prior direct marketing experience stop her—and she didn’t. Femail Creations focuses on supporting women artists and women business owners. Lisa feels very strongly about reaching out to others and giving a hand up. Each issue of the catalog features a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls. Giving back is at the heart of Femail Creations.

Lisa’s book, Dream Big: Finding the Courage to Follow Your Dreams and Laugh at Your Nightmares (Conari Press), offers hilarious stories, heart-stopping inspiration, and roll-up your sleeve tips on following your own passion. Her new Stepping Stones affirmation cards help you find the courage to take the first step. Lisa writes a monthly e-mail newsletter, Girl Talk for her 150,000 subscribers on her popular website www.femailcreations.com.

Lisa lives in Southern Nevada with her husband, two children, and an Airedale named Zoë who doesn’t know she is a dog.
