This week we are splitting the show in half to cover two topics critical to entrepreneurs. The first is discussing cloud computing and what businesses need to know about this evolution of technology. Jeff and Dan talk to Chris Cameron, a Senior Manager at Deloitte, about the ins and outs of cloud computing. First, what is “cloud computing?” As many of the services we use, from word documents to the movies we watch, move online, business owners need to be ahead of the curve if they plan to stay ahead of the game.
Next, we tackle how entrepreneurs can fund their businesses in the early stages of their venture. Building your business from the ground up is a unique challenge and, for some ventures, an accelerator program may be a perfect next step. Brian Bosche, a Startup Analyst for the Bizdom Accelerator based in Detroit, talks about what his organization looks for in new businesses and what kinds of startups are a fit for a program like Bizdom.
