Making a statement about home-based businesses

For the past four months, the StartupNation team has been engrossed in its boldest initiative yet – creating and publishing the first annual ranking of home-based businesses in America.

Finally, after all of this effort, the 2007 StartupNation Home-Based 100 ranking results are now published at our site, and what a collection of incredible businesses it is.

CONGRATULATIONS, WINNERS!!!!!!!!

""The winners were chosen from among thousands who visited and registered at StartupNation’s groundbreaking Sun City with the hopes of getting their piece of the limelight. The 100 winners are made up of ten Top Ten categories. You’ll start seeing emblems at winners’ website and in their emails such as this one, which recognizes the "Most Slacker-Friendly" home-based businesses.

Many of our choices were extremely difficult. Some were easy and clear. But throughout our judging process, one thing was for certain: Home-based business is a big deal and we’re going to make sure that it gets the attention and respect it deserves by promoting the achievements of the 2007 Home-Based 100 winners.

For those of you who entered the competition but didn’t win, we encourage you to press on, pour your passion into your work, and position yourself to be a winner next year.

If there was any consistent theme among the winners for 2007, it was passion and persistance.

We hope you are inspired, informed and even entertained by your fellow home-based entrepreneurs.
