Doug Miller

Doug is an experienced advisory specialist and advocate in the complex and evolving needs of today’s corporate and individual liability risks with a focus on publicly traded financial institutions and complex professional services organizations. With 30 years of experience, he is well-versed with the insurance implications of corporate transactions including claims, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, proxy fights, hostile takeovers, IPOs, stock spin-offs, reverse mergers, and bankruptcy.

Melissa Selke

As a Vice President in Kapnick’s Specialty Risk practice group, Melissa’s role is to work with clients to understand which areas of their business create risk and then provide insurance options to protect their company and their budget. She specializes in marketing and placement of management liability coverages including Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime insurance, Network Security & Privacy Liability, Errors & Omissions Liability and Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion insurance—for companies of all sizes in all industries. 

Mike Fenstemacher

As a Vice President and risk advisor, Mike works with clients to design risk management programs specific to their unique risk profiles.  Mike unitizes the Kapnick Risk Assessment process designed to provide a comprehensive review of exposures and how best to address them. Prior to his insurance career, Mike owned and operated his own small business and understands his clients’ specific needs as he has experience sitting on their side of the table and he previously faced many of the same challenges that they face. Mike works tirelessly to ensure that his clients receive the best insurance experience possible.

Andrew Kapnick

As an Account Executive, Andrew surveys clients’ property & casualty insurance programs to find any gaps in coverage, and finds solutions to those gaps. He also works with Kapnick’s insurance carriers on pricing negotiations. Andrew takes great pride in getting his clients the most coverage for the best price.

Melissa Matich

In her role as Account Executive, Melissa works with Private Clients, or individuals with high net worth. She works hard to establish trusted relationships with her clients, as she believes it’s essential that they feel comfortable and confident working with her. She sees her role not just as someone who provides insurance coverage, but who keeps their best interests in mind. Melissa understands that each client has different needs, wants, and risks, and she works hard to meet those needs and protect the lives they’ve worked so hard to build.
