David Wagner

David Wagner is Founder and Managing Partner at Wildwood Ventures. He works across all aspects of the Management Company, with particular focus on portfolio strategy, investment management, investor relations, and firm administration. Previously, Wagner was EVP of Venture Platforms and EVP of Global Strategy at VF, serving on VF’s executive leadership team for six years. In these roles, Wagner founded VF Venture Foundry and spearheaded VF’s anchor investment in BaseLayer Ventures, a seed and A-stage consumer technology fund. Wagner holds a B.S.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
