Tricia Martin-Owen has a master's degree in design and has worked in the fields of architecture, urban planning, health care and education. After studying various forms of meditation and holistic health modalities for over 10 years, she turned her focus towards the intersection of children, relationships, connection, education, holistic living and the future of our planet. She’s the author of "The Whole Environment Educational Philosophy" as well as founder and head of school at The Oak School. She is also a certified yoga instructor, Hakomi somatic therapeutic practitioner and a certified health coach. She lives in Colorado with her husband, son and two dogs.
