Venture Capital Down Significantly in Q1 2023: Here’s the Data to Know

The results are out for how the U.S. venture capital market fared in the first quarter of 2023, and the news isn’t encouraging. For the fast-growth startup community whose lifeblood depends on available venture capital funding, it’s going to be harder to secure.

Startups around the globe raised a collective $58.6 billion in venture funding in the quarter— down 13% from the last quarter, according to data from CB Insights.
