Lauren McGoodwin

Lauren McGoodwin, the founder and CEO of Career Contessa, is a Power Move advocate, and has a life mission to help women build successful and fulfilling careers on their terms. Formerly, Lauren was a recruiter for Hulu focused on hiring, employer branding, and talent development. She is the author of "POWER MOVES: How Women Can Pivot, Reboot, and Build a Career of Purpose" (Harper Business). She has a Bachelor's in Education from University of Oregon and a Master’s in Communication Management from USC, where she wrote her thesis on millennial women and career resources. Additionally, Lauren hosts Career Contessa’s podcast, The Femails, is a regular career expert contributor, and spends her free time in Redondo Beach, CA fostering dogs from local animal shelters.
