Charles Ballard is a professor of economics and former department chair at Michigan State University. He has specialized in Michigan’s economy for many years, and is the author of the book Michigan’s Economic Future.

Dennis Archer Jr.  is the CEO of Ignition Media Services, an integrated media marketing agency, and was a founding partner of Archer Corporate Services.  He is also the owner of Central Kitchen and Bar, a highly acclaimed restaurant in Detroit.  His father, Dennis Archer Sr., was mayor of Detroit from 1993 to 2001.
