StartupNation: What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?
Cathy: Knowing that I made it happen.
StartupNation: To what do you attribute your success as an entrepreneur and business owner?
Cathy: Never giving up.
StartupNation: What ignited the spark in you to start/select your particular business as an entrepreneur?
Cathy: I have been an Entrepreneur always since 18 I opened my first Salon DIVADEVA was created from my Passion for younger looking Skin I knew I could make a difference and decided to create Products that would show you real results.
StartupNation: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Cathy:

StartupNation: If you had one piece of advice for someone just starting out, what would it be?
Cathy: Believe in yourself!

Cathy: My mind gets ideas in the middle of the night.
StartupNation: What is your favorite motivational/business quote as an entrepreneur?
Cathy: Never, Never quit!

Cathy: Today I am going to make it happen.

StartupNation: How did you get funding for your startup?
Cathy: I actually was out of work and little by little built it up we just had my husband’s income, we went out on a limb and did our first Show and made Profit.
StartupNation: Recommendations for others starting out?
Cathy: Cash in hand is the best way.

StartupNation: How do you market and build your customer base?
Cathy: Face to Face, I worked the shows went on TV and Radio.
StartupNation: Recommendations for others starting out?
Cathy: The more you are seen, the more you will grow.
Changes in the Business Market
StartupNation: What changes have you seen in your business market since starting?
Cathy: I saw great success, then a crash now, we are on an upswing!
StartupNation: What do you see coming that will impact your business?
Cathy: Now things are moving forward the Economy is getting stronger I think now will be the best time for us to succeed.
StartupNation: Have a funny story about a client or business transaction that you want to share along with a key lesson learned?
Cathy: Never lose the cash Drawer!! I threw it away somehow. I’ll never live that one down, the lesson is not to be so tired you don’t think ask for help when you need it.
