WJR Business Beat with Jeff Sloan: Virtual Internships (Episode 34)

On this morning’s WJR Business Beat, Jeff discusses the value of internships for small businesses, and how these internship programs are shifting amid COVID-19.

According to Handshake, an early career network, as much as 30 percent of all these planned internships have already been canceled.

That’s where virtual internships come in. Six percent of students polled already indicated that their internships have been shifted to virtual, and 89 percent of all students indicated they’d love to have a virtual internship instead of a cancelled one.
