Startup Story

Maybe it’s the soft spot in my heart for anyone brave or foolhardy enough to try a startup in the Rocky Mountain West, an area not known for its abundance of resources for entrepreneurs. Or maybe it’s my admiration for someone who goes out and does what others say can’t be done.

Speaking of inspiring, I extend my personal congratulations to the Startup Nation Home-Based 100 honorees. Their stories are also well worth reading.

Remember, it is America’s small businesses that keep her economy humming.

And on this Veteran’s Day weekend, I’d also like to extend my gratitude to everyone who has ever served in our armed forces. You are the people who make our lives possible. Thank you.
