The NCAA Basketball Tournament – “March Madness” – is one of those annual events that is ripe for strengthening your business network. The tourney kicks off this week with daytime games all across the country on Thursday and Friday. Many people will take the two days off and many, many more will be sneaking peaks at the updated scores throughout the two days.

Here’s a great example of how to use the “Share with a friend” feature at We’ve set up an NCAA Tournament StartupNation Community Group for the first 250 community members who register. Create your bracket, select your teams, then come back to the community forum to talk about your picks and the tournament.

Sharing good news with others is not only a nice thing to do that brings smiles & joy to the world, it’s smart business! Your network of contacts will reciprocate and you’ll be even richer for the “sharing” experience.

Bonus Tip: You can forward any content page at including your own profile!! Let people know how they can learn more about you and your business. It’s a cool marketing tool.
