Dr. Patti Fletcher
(Dr. Patti Fletcher)

This week on StartupNation Radio, your host, Jeff Sloan, is joined by two entrepreneurs and authors. First up is Dr. Patti Fletcher, a tech executive, marketing influencer, gender equity advocate, angel investor, speaker and author of “Disrupters: Success Strategies From Women Who Break the Mold.”

During the show, Patti discusses why there is a dearth of women in tech and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, how to bring men into the conversation and, in using examples from her book, she shares how women are succeeding (despite the odds) while paving the way for those who follow.

Later in the hour, Jeff speaks with Tim Marshall, an entrepreneur and author. Originally from Detroit, his Florida-based tech startup was featured as one of Inc. Magazine’s “Fastest Growing Companies in America” for four years in a row; experiencing record-breaking growth of almost 300 percent.

Tim talks about his experience as an entrepreneur and the journey from growing up in Detroit to where he’s currently at, as well as the experience of writing his first book, “The Power of Breaking Fear.”
