Do you know what motivates you?: Entrepreneur Motivation

Successful People Start With Proper Motivation

What motivates you? Do you know? If you are an entrepreneur and/or just launching a startup, you need to figure this out, because motivation leads to passion, and both lead to success. Entrepreneur motivation, in fact, is rather a personal thing, but you can find what motivates you and use those things to keep you going when things get tough and you become discouraged.

People Who Have Overcome Great Odds Can Be Great Examples

When you think that your problems might be insurmountable, take some inspiration from others – how about Nick Vujicic, motivational speaker who was born with no arms or legs? Or Stephan Hawking, theoretical physicist, now paralyzed from the neck down and still working? How about Malala Yousafzai, shot in the head by the Taliban and still actively advocating for young women?

Post Famous Quotes around Your Office, Add Yours and Inspiration Will Come

Thomas Edison said, “I haven’t failed. I just found 10,000 ways that don’t work.” And Walt Disney famously stated, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” Find motivational business quotes that are really meaningful to you, and post them in plain sight – you need to see them every day!

Motivation Can Come From Books

If you have found a book or two that speaks to you well, (e.g., 7 Habits of Highly Successful People, Awake the Giant, Think and Grow Rich), find the passages that are inspirational, bookmark them, and read them often, especially when you become discouraged or frustrated. And don’t forget about internet sources and social life magazines, as well as your social networks.

Movies are Often a Source of Motivation

We have all seen movies that have “struck a chord” and made us aspire to success. View those movies again, and get that feeling back again. Shawshank Redemption, Pursuit of Happyness, and Remember the Titans comes to mind.

Music Gets You Moving and Motivates You!

Who cannot feel spirits lifted with songs such as “Eye of the Tiger” or “We are the Champions.” How about “Don’t Stop Believin?” Play the music that inspires you and lifts your mood, with words you want to sing to yourself, because they push you to greatness!
