10 Common Traits of an Entrepreneur

The number of people dreaming of entrepreneurial success is again on the rise. Applications filed to start new businesses doubled in 2020 compared to recent years, and 2021 and 2022 saw over 5 million applications filed, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Last year, a record-breaking 5.5 million new business applications were filed.

Many of those people see themselves choosing the entrepreneurial life and then immediately choosing the right business. They see themselves being majorly successful, allowing them to make enormous wealth, be the boss, have the freedom to come and go as they please and work how and when they want.

If only this were the reality, everyone would be an entrepreneur!

Unfortunately, this is not the experience for most. Being an entrepreneur can be tremendously rewarding, but it is hard work. And that is a key point to keep in mind before you start down the entrepreneurial path, before you even think about what industry appeals to you or would make the best use of your abilities, aptitudes and assets.
