It’s almost spring, and even if there is still snow on the ground, it’s time to think about new beginnings – for you and your business. Do you need a fresh start?
If so, it’s time to create (or update) your specific goals for today, this week, this month, and this year. To start, write down exactly what you want to accomplish. Then, figure out what you need to do to meet your goals in a specific timeframe. And once you have your goals written down…
• Take Action!
It’s time to take action! This can be the hardest part of accomplishing anything. But if you don’t do something, nothing will happen. It’s like Wayne Gretzky says, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
Start small. Read a book. Conduct online research. Call current customers and ask for a referral. Just do something. You’ll either take a step forward towards making your goals a reality, or you’ll learn something about yourself and your business.
Did you accomplish the goals you set last year? If not, why not? Write down what you will do differently this time to make positive things happen. You can learn from your failures, but only if you make the effort to do so.
