15 Proven Ways to Generate Sales

Latest posts by Luke Fernandez (see all)

As a new entrepreneur, you’re looking for cost-effective ways to not only generate more sales, but also boost your brand, as well. There are numerous ways that you can do this. Incentivizing your customers with special offers and deals will keep your customers wanting more.

If your business is just about to open its doors (virtual or brick-and-mortar), you should consider having a pre-launch sale or exclusive offerings for your first customers. If your customers are one of the first people to buy your product or service, they will want to share it with their family and friends. Not only will this bring attention to them, but most importantly, it will bring attention to your brand. These exclusive offers hold a lot of clout, and when used properly, can take your business to the next level.

However, if you decide that an exclusive offer isn’t right for your business, think about having a pre-launch sale. Giving your customers the chance to get their hands on a product or service at a discounted rate, before it’s open to the public, is a great way to bring attention to your business. Not only will your customers be happy that they are saving money, but you also will be able to use those customers as a tool to market your product or service.

Aside from the exclusive offers and pre-launch sales, you also can take advantage of the time of year your business opens or when a certain product launches. Seasonal, holiday, birthday, and product launch deals are all great ways to put your customers in the mood to spend money. When your customers know that there are certain times of the year that they can get a discount on a product or service, it will give your business the chance to not only prepare for the surge, but also give you enough time to increase your brand awareness.

However, if your seasonal and holiday deals are more popular than you thought, you might want to offer your customers bonus online-only deals. Giving your customers the option to shop online is not only convenient for them, but it will also alleviate the stress of your employees that happen to be at your physical store location.

Utilizing social media can also prove to be an excellent way to connect with your customers and drive sales in the process. Offering an exclusive offer on your social media platforms gives your audience a more personalized way to interact with your business while expanding your target market. Once you have gained enough traction on these platforms, it may be time to start thinking about the benefits of using an influencer. Not only will influencers drive traffic to your social media pages, website, and store, but they will (hopefully!) boost your sales.

These are just a handful of ways in which you can generate sales for your new business. The only thing that you have to do is to determine which strategy is best for you and your audience.
